I'm Eli
Hi I’m Eli! My family moved away and left me to fend for myself. I ended up on someone’s porch begging them to let me stay with them. They were nice enough to feed me but couldn’t take me in. Thankfully Canine Healing Project said they would take care of me. I went to the vet and found out I am heartworm positive 🙁 I don’t know what that means but I think this positive isn’t such a good thing. I am getting treatment now and I will also need to be neutered. They keep telling everyone I am so sweet and loving. I just want to snuggle and be close to humans. I do like dogs and don’t mind cats either. All I want is someone to love me and I will love you back times a million!
I'm Otto
Hi I’m Otto! I am a distinguished gentleman looking for someone that has a slower pace to life and wants to enjoy the little things in life. I am as sweet as can be and don’t require much, some love, a full belly, short walks, and a soft place to rest my body. I do have some arthritis in my hips but other than that I am a healthy boy. I would love to visit some seniors in the nursing home or retirement facilities as a therapy dog.
I'm Aria (on a home trial)
Hi I’m Aria! I only had hours to live when the nice people at CHP came and rescued me. I have the most adorable smile and I LOVE snuggles. Kids are amazing, if you didn’t already know and I don’t mind other animals. If you give me lots of snuggles, treats, and a few walks- I will be content. And maybe sometimes I can join you for a day on the town or a nice hike in the mountains or even sunsets at the beach? Let’s do life together and I will repay you a million times over in love!
I'm Ren
Hi I’m Ren! I am the newest kid on the block. I am only a year old and I was losing hope until the nice people at CHP rescued me the last day the shelter was going to allow me to stay. I don’t know why I found myself on the euthanasia list. I may be full of energy but I am just a pup! My rescue person told me I would get some training and be the best pup. I love people, I love kids, I am good with other dogs. If you would like to meet me or foster me, please head to our application page.
I'm Brody (on a home trial)
Hi I’m Brody! I may be an older fella but I still have those Lab puppy eyes that will melt your soul. Brody’s family could no longer care for him and dropped him off at the fire station hoping they would make sure he ended up in a good home. They contacted Canine Healing, knowing Brody would make a good therapy dog. We know Brody was well cared for and loved his family. He will have to start over again, however we will make sure he finds the perfect second chance and his furever home.
I'm Maple
Hi I’m Maple! I am so happy the nice people at Canine Healing chose me at the shelter. I am not really sure how I ended up there but I was left in the dog yard at the shelter one night. I recently had babies but I don’t know where they are, I hope they are okay. I love all people, all dogs, haven’t told anyone if I like cats yet, but they suspect I will because I am just the sweetest soul that loves snuggles and kisses. I walk well on a leash and I am up for doing whatever you want to do, go for a walk or snuggle on the couch and watch movies. I would love to be a therapy dog once I gain some weight and my skin heals from lack of care. I am looking for a foster or better yet, a furever home!
I'm Ashe
Hi I’m Ashe! Unfortunately I came from a cruelty case and found myself at the shelter. I am looking for a better future. Everyone tells me I am really cute and super sweet. I have really come out of my shell and love to play with other dogs and snuggle up to the humans. I would love to be a therapy dog soon so I can show everyone that a little kindness can go a long way!
I'm Aisling
Hi I’m Aisling (pronounced Ash-ling)! I recently completed my training and I got all A’s!! I am grateful for my second chance as CHP saved me right before I was out of time at the shelter. They said I am a smart girl and that a new life awaits me. I get along great with other dogs. I love to play but also know how to chill too! I am going to work really hard at being the best girl if you just give me a chance!
